This policy describes how the Clean Up AI Noise browser extension (“the extension”) handles information. The developer is the party identified on this extension’s Chrome Web Store listing.
The extension runs in your browser and may adjust how text appears on pages you visit (for example, dimming or removing some sentences in articles or search snippets) using local heuristics. Processing happens on your device as part of displaying the page.
We do not operate a backend service that receives those contents for this extension.
The extension may save preferences such as whether it is enabled, filter mode, sensitivity, and
per-site disable rules. This uses Chrome’s storage APIs (including
chrome.storage.sync where supported), which may sync across devices signed into the same
Chrome browser account. That sync is provided by Google under your Google account; we do not receive
a separate copy of your settings on our own systems.
The extension’s host permissions and content script coverage allow it to run on sites you open so it can analyze visible text in those tabs. That access is used only to apply the extension’s features in the browser; it is not used to upload page content to us.
The extension is a general-purpose browser tool and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy if the extension’s behavior changes. The “Last updated” date will change when it does.
For questions, use the support contact or privacy contact shown on this extension’s Chrome Web Store listing (or your Google account’s developer contact, if applicable).
